In The Studio
To finish the Hōkū CD, three things were needed. A female chorus on the song ʻHauolaʻ. A mens chorus on ʻKoʻiʻ. And a chant from Keliʻi. So for the female chorus we enlisted the help of Louise Alborano, Robyn Kneubuhl, and Melinda Caroll. We spent the morning tracking at Sounds Like Hale Recording Studio in Kahului with Hale Villiarimo. The mens chorus was comprised of Kapono Kamaunu, Keliʻi, and David. And the show stopper was the chant Keliʻi did for the middle of Koʻi.
